In hypnosis, I talk you through a 'noticing' process. With choices. You're safe, so you can properly relax and get into it... I help you with that, too.
You won't be unconscious. When you are, you don't learn much. You'll actually be very conscious: in a non-real world that you're imagining or retrieving. Hypnosis is what happens when you're engrossed at the cinema, or you dance for hours because the music's so good, or you're thinking while you drive then you arrive but can't tell how you got there. It's not like sleep. It's like dreaming with clearer direction. And my voice. Like a sports coach or journey guide, you'll hear me directing you through what to do. But you walk through all the steps in your mind. That's why it works. You'll hear my voice guiding from the sidelines.
For some years I was a counsellor with the Samaritans. I trained volunteers in how to listen, and briefly ran our service, expanding it. A number of callers said they'd not known who to talk with, how to manage their emotions and mental health. I upgraded to hypno which helps better.
Before this, for many years, I studied handwriting analysis (graphology). I wanted to get a sense of people, know their hangups and wishes, and subtly influence them positively to go be brilliant. I devoured books on left- and right-handedness, the brain's two sides (arty right, evaluating left). I found that the body's non-symmetry, like the heart and liver, influence the carve and slope of penpath against paper, like a snowboarder's track. The voice muscles that unconsciously 'talk' when you hand-write, and show up through then pen. Then I tried it backwards. Changed my writing and influenced my health. By addressing the symptom of my handwriting, I started to change my psychology. In fact, you can do this with all of your body's language and expression. It's a non-drug mode of treatment for every physical illness where psychology is a main factor.
I studied Philosophy at uni, because I live to understand consciousness.
I think the enquiry into what we can know about it, and what details we can make out about its structure, result in some of life's clearest answers.
I mastered clinical hypnosis at the leading Hypnotherapy School in Europe. BST Foundation do the only hypnosis training that's now a Finals University module in Medicine. They co-run Europe's first Hypnosis Degree [the BSc in Clinical Hypnosis] with St Mary's University London. In my qualifying exam, I was examined by The Royal Board of Psychiatry who awarded me a Distinction. I briefly came back to teach, and my classmate now runs the BSc course.
From 2006-08 I lived in Cape Town, South Africa. Chris Chameleon, the highest-selling Afrikkaans music artist of the past ten years, dedicated me album bonus-track, to my influence on his positive thinking. I set up PNI South Africa Association for medically formulated hypnosis in art, effective for African languages. With HIV and the poverty backdrop, a resilience-strengthening self-hypnosis initiative can help conserve medicine resources and be given out freely. So this project is ongoing.
At home I farm, run, and keep bees. I've been in the natural health field for many years and travelled extensively in indigenous and metropolitan cultures around the world. I've picked up a wealth of experience in the spiritual, medicine and vitality practises of other countries that I share.
So if you want to take charge of your life, I want to hear from you. You can reset your life for happiness with hypnosis. You can form a habit of the life-style of your choice. This is colossal. You just have to take action!
You already know if this feels right. If it does, do it now!
The number's right here! Do it for you. What is it costing you not to?!!
