- GRATEFUL - HONOURED - AND - HUMBLED -

"Dear Jenny; I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you have done for me and my family in getting me to finally kick the smoking habit. I have had no desire to smoke at all and I haven't eaten more than usual or been angry with my family. If anything I have been a brighter and happier person to be around because I feel so good and so proud of what I have achieved.

I can confirm that this weekend I accomplished what I wanted most - I completed the walk between the kitchen, bathroom and sitting room [of our bungalow] unaided without the need for my husband or my respirator. For us this was as you call it 'a transformative moment'. After some tears we had a long talk about his smoking. He has promised to come and see you himself because if I can do it, he wants to do this for me. We are also getting our daughter to come to see you too. We are all eternally grateful for this new lease of life you have given me. To me you are an angel sent to earth to help people."

"Hypnotherapy was the catalyst I needed to really look at my life and what I want. I'd got into a trap of ignoring what I wanted from life, what made me feel fulfilled, because I was panicking and stressing about all these dangers that weren't there! I've given up my job in the City, AND all the stupid dating, till I'm clear on what I want, for me. And I'm going back to Australia to see my family. Feel soo much better. Thank you"

Jenny is a consummate professional: insightful, skilled and effective. My experience of hypnotherapy was quite unlike the stunts so often shown on TV; I found the whole process relaxing and very enjoyable.

I originally came to Jenny for help with severe back pain. Hypnotherapy has given me a powerful tool with which to alleviate it. Additionally, I now feel “sorted out” and this is wonderfully welcome. The phrase “sorted out” really does sum it up; nothing has been added or taken away but everything is now in its proper place. A bit like a room with stuff all over the floor where you know you’ve got various things but you can’t find them in the muddle. Now it’s as if everything is ordered, clear and accessible. THANK YOU!

I would like to thank you from my heart for our sessions and the positive impact you are having on my life. I was already on a good path and didn't think I really 'needed' something else, but was simply curious at first, probably because you had this confidence about you that you could make a difference. The work with you is most enjoyable and makes me feel "turbo-charged" and I'm looking to go stratospheric with my life. I sense that you have a real interest in you to see where my own success can go from here with your collaboration.

First of all you are a great listener and wanted to find out what it really was that I wanted to achieve. You have great energy and warmth and make me feel at ease during our coaching sessions which allowed me to explore the broadest range of issues and barriers, a lot of them rooted in wrong thinking and self limiting beliefs. Even during our first session you helped me to reframe how I thought and felt about myself, making me immediately feel better. You have an amazing knowledge about a wide range of topics and can bring this to life with a language that is very powerful, colourful, real.

The magic started when we did a Hypnotherapy session. The days and weeks after I just started to feel more lightness and confidence in me which I can carry into my daily life. The best way to express it that things are 'flowing' better in all areas of my life, having an inner smile, or maybe almost like becoming a smile if that makes any sense.

It's great I bumped into you and I look forward to find out where the journey takes me ... it only started!

"I got on a PLANE!!!! I have just come back on an aeroplane from France! It wasn't nearly as scary as I thought it would be. I breathed and did my Power Tap exercise from the seat, and even when we were taking off I felt calmer than I thought I could.

I DID IT!! Now I'm the one pushing travel brochures at everyone in the staff room to plan the next school trip abroad! FANTASTIC xxx "

I must say that this decision to move out, and how it all turned out (the family I stay with changing their mind about their own demands so as to give me the freedom to go and audition or work whenever an opportunity turns up) happened just a few days after the hypnotic session we had. I've also been working a lot with the positive affirmations and feel it's making my change of life very positive so far. I'm very grateful for your contribution in helping me move forward!

I'm actively looking for suitable work, and opportunities start pointing their nose. I have the uncanny feeling that something is going to happen soon, either with my teaching or my singing.

I look forward to seeing you again soon and thank you for your help and magic!

Hi Jenny, I have been meaning to write and thank you. I feel much better. Less distracted. Your little talk must have helped. I have come to the decision to just move on. I have so many good things happening that I can focus on. We did get the grant for the community garden. Next spring we should be up and
growing. It's planned to be located next to the school so the kids can work the fields. The support has been overwhelming.

'I can honestly say for the first time in months, I feel absolutely fine about it.. it's not even that I'm mad at (xxx) and say I've forgiven him but I'm still taking the moral high ground - it's different, I feel like I'm complete within myself, so I've somehow healed that whole period and brought it all in as part of my life. I actually feel like a whole person again.'

Dear Jenny,

Thank you so much for helping me see and become the person I've wanted to reclaim for so long. You've helped me with this and also opened up my horizons. In vision and in many other ways.

[Here is a testimonial for your site.]

As well as "knowing her stuff" in relation to her practice (Jenny has an incredibly in depth understanding of the body/mind and its functioning and co-relation), Jenny has a real intuitive sense,
which allows her to work quickly, get straight to the issue and set in motion the upward steps which are her therapy.

I think the combination of her experiential and vast knowledge of her field with this intuitive clarity of who she is working with, allows for the powerful and effective results she gets out of people.

I came to her at a time of real turmoil and despair. [ Initially.. at a time of breaking point.] A year later I am filled with joy to say that she has successfully helped me, not only get back on track, but also reignite the spark in me, one filled with a real love for existence, for being and becoming.

'I'm quite surprised- I feel actually really good! I don't mind the thought of not drinking tonight. I don't feel like I need to. It's weird! But it's good, don't get me wrong - it's just quite funny to feel happy about tomorrow, I feel a bit giggly. Almost light hearted. It's a good feeling! And I don't feel like drinking - that's amazing.'

Jen Cape Times

2007
While living in Cape Town, I met the multi-award-winning Afrikkaans musician and recording artist Chris Chameleon at the pre-launch of his concept album, Ek VIr Jou.  (I'm Yours)

This 10-song concept album charts the stages of relationships, song by song from first sight to eventually broken heart. I looked around the launch party at the rapt audience hanging on his every word. That's true healthy hypnosis. It seemed a shame that Chris's story of love affairs was a repeating cycle with an unhappy ending. This cool soundtrack, and we all use music to frame our life events with beauty and reflection, ended on a glum note, implying that cycle starts again. But why not end on a hope note? Life can reflect art, why not give your followers a possibility boost?

If you have talent in articulating thoughts with beauty, you'll attract an audience deeply listening to what you express. Hypnosis in its clearest form: you share direct from your heart, and you touch, move and inpsire people. So I pulled him aside. When you were young, you heard tunes and words in his head, want to have them heard, want to be heard, share the thing. Now he had the stage, he had the attention, the hypnotic spell - you're responsible for them now, I said. Look at them all there, listening. So your relationships ended. So what? Now you have space for better ones. And you're better at it now. Life is about you: you're here, you're fine. Your exes are still amazing, you don't "need" them to fill some job role as "partner". You can relate in any way that makes you both happy. You're never bound by relationship types. Stuff the conventions, I said. Just get on with it. Do what makes you happy.

If you make a breakthrough about this, I said, you'll share it with millions of people, and they'll listen to you. You, personally. So you've got to do it. You'll put a positive element to your next relationship, brewing in the cosmos now. You'll do that for whole communities, generations! Now you've got them where you want them, you're responsible for them: you have to find your happiness. You have a moral responsibility because everyone's watching.

Taken aback, and slightly cross, he asked how he might do this. All his relationships so far had indeed ended with some pain involved. .... We chatted.

The 2007 Ek Vir Jou album came out with an unexpected new bonus track: Epiloog  (Epilogue). I think it is heroic.

This eleventh catchy triumph is dedicated to "someone English-English, the girlfriend of a comedian friend of mine, she had the audacity to tell me when I'd already finished, that I should end it on a brighter note". Yeah, it was pretty cocky. But what an honour to meet someone so influential, and frankly, because they're so genuine, and therefore talented. The track is a song for triumphing over heartbreak with the help of mates. The act of dusting yourself off, and choosing to have more love. To Chris's annoyance, it disrupted the 10-song symmetry... he didn't want to lose any of the others. But there we are. Eleven is the new cycle ;-]

So whatever your language, if you'd forgot how it feels to be better again after a split, may I ask if it sounds a little like this...

Think striding over the hills home and whistling or tooting a kazoo.

"I think every artist has a responsibility to their fans to be a voice for revolution, they owe it to their fans to give them that"

- Lady Gaga, on Paul O'Grady show, 2011
